We are now accepting applications for our Women Lead Fall 2021 cohort.
Please note: we are prioritizing applicants we were unable to accommodate in 2020/21 sessions cancelled due to COVID and so space in this cohort is limited.
The deadline to apply is Tuesday, September 7, 2021.
On Monday, September 27 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. join local visual artist, Manuela for a workshop. We will paint self-portraits and in doing so learn about the self. The class will be guided, so feel free to follow along or go at your own pace.
The Girls Programs provide girls-only safe spaces where they can learn about and share their knowledge of leadership, activism, and community building. We facilitate various activities that include music, crafts, discussions, and most importantly, girl-led sessions where girls practice their leadership skills. Girls tell us that our programs are fun and that they help them feel more confident and connected. Discussions and activities center around topics that girls are interested in from a gender-specific lens.
Registration opens Tuesday, September 7!
To sign up, please contact the Women’s Centre at 403-264-1155 or email[email protected].
