Lenten Services at Good Shepherd

Come Sundays at 9 a.m. in Lent on as we discover the why of our hands-on ministries at the church. We’ll be meeting in the church itself for some Good Shepherd show-and-tell. If you’ve ever wondered, “What is that thing for?” this series is for you. 

March 16 – Conversational Bible Study with Rev. Shawn Shriener

March 23 – The Good Shepherd Welcome 

March 30 – The Stuff of Church a.k.a “What’s that thing called?” 

April 6 – First Communion Class for Families and Adults

Children's Chapel Children are invited to participate in a service just for them. Follow the cross after the Collect.

Thursdays @ 12:00 – Spirituality & Music of Lent 

Join Becky+ online as she teaches a six-week spirituality and music course with the Stevenson School of Ministry. To sign up, please follow the link, or email Becky at rzartman@goodshepherdrmt.org. 

This six-session class is an interdisciplinary, high-energy romp through the history of Lenten liturgy, music and spirituality to reveal the humanity behind the hymns. Classes include:

Farewell Party for Bob Hyatt:

The entire congregation is invited to a farewell party for Bob Hyatt who is moving to Florida to live close to his son, daughter in law and grandchildren.

The party will be held in the Parish Hall on Saturday March 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served. There will be music (guitar and vocals) by choir member Peter Sowerwine.

The Women of Good Shepherd are invited to attend:

A Women's Retreat at St. Andrew's on 3/15/2025 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Snacks and beverage available in the morning session and lunch will be provided and there is no fee.
