It’s easy to use and full of fun features. You will love it.

Read to a Dog!

Why read to a dog? Because dogs are friendly and comfy, judgement-free (no pressure!), and they love the attention of being read to.

Kids will gain more confidence in their reading aloud skills, and enjoy the company of a new friend.

Read aloud to Mr. T, a registered/certified therapy dog from Therapy Dogs International, Chapter 205.

Children in Grade K-4 who register will have a 20 minute session on the following Thursdays, from 2:45 PM - 4:00 PM:

April 27

and May 11.

New Hampshire 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless. Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler.
The goal is to read 1,000 books before your little one starts kindergarten- and yes you can repeat books! We know that all kids have favorites! If you read just 1 book a night, you will have read 365 books in a year. By the time they start kindergarten, it's possible to have read 1,825 books together!
Not only will your child benefit from having a larger vocabulary, and more interest in reading, but studies have shown that reading to a child daily is an early indicator of academic success. The bonding time while you read to/with a child is possibly one of the most wonderful benefits!
Do you have questions? Need more logs?
 Please call the library!
