HONORING OUTSTANDING

FEMALE ATHLETES

On Friday, February 17, 45 DCSD middle school and 45 high school outstanding female athletes were honored at the annual Girls & Women in Sports Luncheon at DCSD's Legacy Campus in Lone Tree. Presented by the Athletics & Activities Department and The Foundation for Douglas County Schools, and in conjunction with National Girls and Women in Sports Day, this inspiring event showcases sports achievements, the positive influence of sports participation, and the continuing effort for equality and access for women in sports.

2024 TEACHER SUPPLY DRIVE

Pencils, sticky notes, graph paper, white board markers and headphones were the most popular items again at this year's Teacher School Supply Drive Grab & Go events! We were excited to see over 80 teachers from across the district join us at the Canvas Credit Union in Lone Tree on January 30 & 31. Generous school supply donations were collected through our partners the Douglas County Libraries, Office Depot and other local business partners throughout the month of January.

In addition to the usual list of supplies, we were excited to receive lots of teacher specific items such as room decorating items, motivational tool sand organizational bins for the classroom. Our sincere thanks to our generous local community in support of our DCSD teachers!
