Castaway Critters' mission is to save the lives of, and provide new beginnings for, lost, sick and abandoned companion animals through rescue, rehabilitation, adoptions and spay/neuter programs.

This time of year is always a challenging time for cat/kitten rescues. We, like all rescues in Central PA, are overwhelmed with kittens and requests for help. If you're considering adopting, now is a great time to do that. If you are considering fostering, please fill out an application at www.CastawayCritters.org.

Not able to adopt a new family member? Consider donating or sponsoring an animal in need. We spend over $100,000 on vetting expenses every year, so every donation helps. Check out some of our events and other ways you can help below.

WHAT WE ARE THANKFUL FOR THIS YEAR

We are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of countless animals. It is a privilege to witness the transformation of these creatures, from fear and neglect to love and happiness. We are thankful for our dedicated team who works tirelessly to rescue animals from difficult situations and provide them with the care they need. We are thankful for the adopters who accept these animals as part of their family and give them loving forever homes. We are humbled by the support of our community, which allows us to continue our mission of saving lives. Thank you to everyone who has donated, volunteered, or adopted an animal from our rescue. Your compassion and generosity make a real impact.
