As the world continues to respond, recover and re-imagine life with Covid-19 and other issues our society continues to face, we are here to help and provide a sense of hope and numerous resources for our community. We are better together!
A special thank you to MDSi for being our title sponsor for our upcoming 3rd Annual Golf Invitational on October 19th at Hawks Ridge. We appreciate the continued partnership as we work together to help improve the lives of children and their families in Forsyth County.
If you or your business is interested in being a sponsor or playing in the tournament please contact our office or click on the link below.
Forsyth County families whose children qualify for free or reduced breakfast and lunch during the school year can find it challenging to meet the family's food needs during the summer months. As you might expect, that challenge may be even greater this summer.
In Forsyth County, we are lucky to have food pantries and programs working hard every day to meet the food needs in our community. For information on food pantries and programs serving our area click here to view our on-line Community Resource Guide.
Here's how you can help:
Start a non-perishable food drive within your business, church, civic organization or neighborhood
Donate your time. Food pantries and programs have established volunteer activities that follow CDC and social distancing guidelines for food sorting and food distribution volunteers
Make a monetary donation to support summer feeding
Remember, we are better together!
SUMMER ACTIVITY PROGRAMS
Due to COVID-19, many summer camps have been cancelled, others have been postponed and/or redesigned, while some have gone totally virtual. In any event, there are still ways for youth to stay safe, connected and have fun this summer.
