Passport to Success:
Belonging
| |
Get ready for Santa Maria’s annual fundraiser, Passport to Success: Belonging, returning this fall. This year’s theme centers on a simple but powerful truth: everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, connected, and accepted without judgment.
Belonging is about more than simply being included. It’s about knowing your voice matters, feeling supported for who you are, and having people beside you through life’s challenges and successes alike. Every day, Santa Maria works to create spaces where program participants feel encouraged, connected, and supported as they work toward their educational, financial, and health goals. This year’s event will celebrate that spirit of belonging and the community that helps make it possible.
Join us on Saturday, September 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Western Hills Country Club for an uplifting morning filled with connection, compassion, and community. Following the warm response to last year’s event, brunch will once again be part of the celebration.
We’re also excited to welcome back WCPO’s Lauren Minor as emcee and to feature beloved Cincinnati community member Teddy Kremer as our keynote speaker. Teddy’s joyful spirit and advocacy for inclusion reflect the heart of this year’s theme as he shares his experiences finding his sense of belonging.
Guests will enjoy meaningful stories, exciting raffles, and a silent auction, all while helping support families in Greater Price Hill as they work toward stronger, self-sustaining futures.
Early bird tickets are on sale now for just $80.

| One Building, Thriving Families | |
For those who may have missed the announcement, we’re excited to share that Santa Maria is now in the public phase of its One Building, Thriving Families capital campaign.
This important step brings Santa Maria closer to creating a new 26,600-square-foot community hub on Considine Avenue, where families will be able to access services in one modern, welcoming space. The new building is designed to help Santa Maria serve families more fully, with areas for one-on-one coaching, digital access, food support, clothing assistance, and more.
Thanks to the generosity of foundations, corporations, public funders, and our individual donors, Santa Maria has already raised $15.5 million toward its $16.5 million goal. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who has helped move this vision forward and bring this moment within reach.
| | Though we're in the final stages of funding this initiative, the last stretch is the hardest! We're still looking for support to make this vision possible. If you're interested in learning more or contributing, visit our campaign page at the button below or contact Santa Maria's Chief Development Officer, Nune Sargsyan, at Nune.Sargsyan@SantaMaria-Cincy.org. | |

We had so much fun at
Safety Fest!
| |
Last Saturday, we saw Lower Price Hill come together for an afternoon of community connection at Safety Fest. This free event drew families from across the neighborhood for games, food, and resources centered on keeping children and youth safe, supported, and healthy.
Kids enjoyed face painting, outdoor games, and even got to check out a real fire truck, while parents browsed safety demonstrations and giveaways. The event connected attendees with helpful resources available right in their own community.
| |
Safety Fest reflects what Santa Maria does best: creating welcoming spaces where families can come together, have fun, and access the support they need, all close to home. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to the staff, partners, volunteers, and sponsors who made the day possible.
Stay tuned for more community events from Santa Maria this summer!

Thank You for Your Support! | |
We’re celebrating an incredible win, and we couldn't have gotten there without you!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Cheers for Charity and helped make it a record-breaking evening. Because of your support, the event raised a record amount in its history, more than $2,300, to help Santa Maria continue serving families in Greater Price Hill. We're also so excited to share that we recently won Warsaw Federal's Community Voting Campaign to receive a $500 donation!
These moments are a reminder that showing up for a greater cause can happen in many different ways, and each one matters. Whether you made a donation, purchased a beverage, voted, or helped spread the word, your support shows the power of community and what’s possible when people come together.
