Sunday we honored mothers for their routine, foundation, perseverance, and gratefulness to God for all He does. This week we look at what it means to be a Christian. In Acts chapter 15 that seems to be a question in question. See you Sunday at 9 or 10:30. ~Andy B.

Update from H.O.P.E. Missions

Jeff and Carol Badgero

I'm packed and ready to fly to Haiti.

Lord willing, I'll leave Michigan on Tuesday and arrive Wednesday, May 11 around noon.

I've been planning and watching and listening and praying, looking for the right time to make a trip.

There will never be a perfect time, we just pray. It's in God's time.

I plan to go to Cap Haitian, no other in-country travel on this trip.

I have invited several leaders in the churches we serve to come for a seminar.

I asked the churches to send upcoming leaders that I don't know already. This will give us a chance to look at future vision for new leaders.

Pray for the safety of all traveling, also pray that God will work with all of us that iron will sharpen iron. This will be a good time to collectively share ideas on being tent preachers or Garden preachers or working preachers and how can we be more self sufficient and be better servants to others.

One of the very first mountain preachers I met, Taveas, had been very sick. He had stomach and pulmonary problems, but is starting to recover now.

May 15th – S.O.S (High School Seniors on Sunday) Meet in the back room of G’s Pizzeria from Noon to 1:30pm. Don’t miss out!
May 22nd – Graduation Sunday. During the 9:00am & 10:30am services, we will be honoring those that are graduating. Let’s sit together and root these grads on! There will be no Faith Training.
May 26th – High School youth in grades 9^th through 11^th are encouraged to support the Seniors on Graduation day by passing out a gift to each Senior following the graduation rehearsal during the school day. Those participating will be excused from their class at 11am. We will meet in the auditorium! Gifts will be provided by KCC.

Bittenbender Baby Shower

Sunday, May 15th from 12:30 - 2:30 you are invited to come celebrate with Hollie Bittenbender as she awaits the arrival of baby Mack. Lunch will be provided. Baby Mack has been so blessed by friends, that his greatest need is boy clothes, diapers, and wipes. They are registered at Amazon

New Dates for the Dominican Republic Mission Trip

October 29th - November 4th, 2022

The dates for the upcoming mission trip to the Dominican Republic have changed, and are now October 29th - November 4th. This means there is still time for you to register! You can sign up and lock in your spot with a deposit by Sunday, June 12, 2022. This is a wonderful opportunity for singles, couples or families. If you have any questions or would like more information contact Michelle Price.

VBS 2022

Go off-road for a Monumental adventure through the colorful canyons and sunbaked trails of the southwest. By exploring God's awesomeness, kids form a rock-solid faith for the road ahead. VBS will run Monday June 27th-Thursday June 30th. Times are 9 A.M-12:00 P.M. The doors will be unlocked for kid drop-off at 8:50 A.M. Pick up will be a line up in the lower level parking lot. We can't wait to see your kids!

*Don't forget our pre-registration event at 3:00p.m. on Sunday, June 26th. You can come in with your child and get a sneak peek at the decorations, learn songs and get to know your crew leaders!

Are you graduating from high school, college, the military, or another institution that you would like us to recognize? Do you know someone that is? Mark your calendars for Graduation Sunday on May 22nd! We want to show our appreciation, but we need to know which service to recognize you/them in (9am or 10:30am). Register online and let us know!
