Help and Hope for the Hill Country

We are so grateful for the amount of support and prayers we have received. Your willingness to serve and donate has enabled us to take major steps in our flood relief efforts. While we are not currently coordinating teams of volunteers, we have been able to serve and support first responders as well as provide immediate relief and aid to victims of the flood and their families. Below, we would like to share a few of our accomplishments:

We are working closely with the Hunt Volunteer Fire department to deliver their most needed items, as soon as possible.

This past Sunday, and for future Sundays, Fr. Mike will be downtown Hunt to provide a space for worship and Holy Communion.

A Mobile Relief Center

One of our first courses of action was to set up a Mobile Relief Center in Hunt. The RV pictured above is now located downtown Hunt as our Headquarters for Relief and this station will be utilized for counseling, trauma response, and assisting the Hunt Volunteer Fire Department as needed.

Community Counseling

Next week on Wednesday, we are partnering with the Children's Bereavement Center of South Texas to provide counseling for families. All are welcome to join us on July 23rd for A Community Healing Circle at 6PM. Meet us in Tucker Hall at 6PM. Childcare will be provided for 12 and under, 13 and up are welcome to join the event with their parents. Read their flyer below and RSVP to join us!

Any amount supports flood relief efforts for our community. 100% of your donation goes directly to flood relief and recovery. Currently, we are handing out Walmart gift cards to those most in need. A $25 donation helps us achieve this!
