A Letter from Our Founder

As we move through March, I am filled with gratitude for the continued momentum within the Las Vegas Fashion Council. The past several weeks have reflected the passion, creativity, and commitment of our community.

We have just completed our Fashion Industry Scholarship review process with our team of reviewers and look forward to announcing this year's recipients by the end of next month. We are also incredibly grateful for the generous donations we receive from our supporters throughout the year, which make these opportunities possible.

We were proud to continue our collaboration with the National Charity League, furthering our shared mission of mentorship and community impact. In addition, we had the honor of supporting the Wedding Dress of the Year event, celebrating creativity, individuality, and a beautiful love story.

I am deeply grateful for our members and am excited to welcome our new board members, whose leadership and fresh perspectives will help guide our future.

Fashion Industry Scholarship

Congratulations to all of the talented students who applied for the Las Vegas Fashion Council Fashion Industry Scholarship. Your creativity, passion, and dedication to the industry continue to inspire us.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our panel of reviewers for taking time from their busy schedules to thoughtfully evaluate each application, and to the Public Education Foundation for their valued partnership in pre-vetting and outreach to local fashion students.

We look forward to announcing this year's scholarship recipients very soon.

10 Years With The National Charity League

This month we celebrated over 10 years of partnership with the National Charity League, supporting one of their annual events through runway coaching for high school students. It is always an honor to help these young participants build confidence and presence as they prepare to walk the runway.

Wedding Dress of The Year Ceremony

We were honored to support the Wedding Chamber of Commerce in celebrating this year's Wedding Dress of the Year. Congratulations to the organization, and especially to the bride and groom, whose beautiful love story was perfectly reflected in a stunning gown thoughtfully discovered in a secondhand store.

Kam is a strategic leader, speaker, author, and curriculum designer currently serving as Vice President of Mission Advancement for the Las Vegas Metro Police Department Foundation. With experience spanning CVS Health, Goodwill of Southern Nevada, and early childhood through executive education, her work centers on helping individuals and organizations thrive through positive self-talk.
