FLOWOOD, Miss. (March 18, 2025) - The 2025 Healthy MS Conference (Empowering Communities for a Healthy Mississippi Conference—ECHMC), Mississippi’s largest conference on health, will be held June 4-6, 2025, in Flowood.
The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) and Mississippi Health Disparities (MHD) host the event every other year, bringing together more than 300 healthcare professionals, scientists, educators and community stakeholders. The main objective is to drive innovative, community-based solutions that benefit the health and well-being of all Mississippians.

The 2025 ECHMC and pre-conference will be held at the Sheraton Refuge Conference Center in Flowood, MS, from June 4 to June 6, 2025, following the Mississippi Community Health Workers Association Summit on June 3.

Important Notice for those seeking Social Work Continuing Education at the 2025 Conference:
The Mississippi State Department of Health (DP#SWB12007) is approved as a designated provider for continuing education for licensed social workers by the Mississippi Board of Examiners for Social Workers and Marriage & Family Therapists—approval period: 12/1/2024 to 11/30/2026.
Social Work continuing education hours have been applied for. If approved, attendance verification and program evaluations for each session will be required in order to receive continuing education credit. Certificates will be emailed after the event.
