NTC UWF to SJC -St. Ouis

POSTCARD FROM ST. LOUIS: United Women in Faith from North Texas traveled to St. Louis last weekend to GET TOGETHER with UWFaith members from eleven other conferences (that's 8 states!). We gathered for workshops, worship, Soul Care and elections. We're proud to have two NTC members elected to serve! (see below) Saturday night was a Sisterhood Sparkle Celebration -- we all wore our bling, danced and had fun! It was great to be together, learn, worship, and celebrate together. Wish you were there, too! Please join the next chance to experience it with us at Mission u!

PLAN NOW: GUN VIOLENCE AWARENESS PROJECT

Vidas Robotas

THE STOLEN LIVES PROJECT -

"VIDAS ROBOTAS"

Your church or group can participate in this DIY art installation that memorializes victims of gun violence. It is a powerful way to visualize the reality of too many victims of gun violence in our communities. This interfaith project can be done at any house of worship. Now is the time to talk about it with administrations to schedule it for fall. More info here.

Contact UWFaith member Katie Clark if you have questions about how you or your church can be involved in this program.
