Yoga

Monday, October 10, 6:00 – 7:00 a.m.

De-stress while you stretch at a yoga class exclusively for The WICT Network Leadership Conference attendees—open to all levels, from beginner to advanced. This class will help prepare your mind and body to better learn and lead, as research shows a connection between physical activity and increased brain power. Check-in at the Marriott Marquis Sky Lobby meeting room on the 16th floor. Class limit is capped at 35 participants, and spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so sign up today!

Mind-Body-Movement

Tuesday, October 11, 6:00 – 7:00 a.m.

Join Dr. Julia Basso, neuroscientist, dancer, and certified yoga teacher, in a morning of movement and meditation. In this workshop, we will explore improvisational dance forms, specifically focusing on composing dance in the moment. We will engage in spontaneous dance making, both individually and as a group, by following your own movement impulses and paying deep attention to others. This class is designed to enhance the way you think and feel, allowing you to be the best leader you can be.

Mats, towels and water will be provided for both fitness classes.
