Despite the fact that tennis is a safe sport to play in a pandemic, the Provincial restrictions required Aforza to move programs and lessons outside from April 30th to May 10th. Running lessons and programs outside helped us to:
- keep our staff employed for as long as possible
- provide rental income to the City of Calgary
- remain inline with the City's Public Use Policy using only 5 of the 7 available courts.
We also heard that many people appreciated seeing so much activity on those courts and they enjoyed the buzz that it created in the community.
We want to thank everyone for the support, patience, and understanding as we navigate this uncertainty. We will continue to work hard to support our staff and the tennis community.
