We have a TA!
With the support of famlies and community members like yours, our Bargaining Team has reached a tentative agreement that gives students and educators more of what we need.
This means we will NOT be calling a strike and SEA members will be welcoming our students back to school tomorrow.
This is a credit to every single person who showed up, wore red, talked with friends and neighbors, emailed the school board, shared their story, or took action. We all won this together.
We won an 18-month collaborative community process to improve Special Education services, among other changes that bring students and educators more of what we need.
Thank you for bearing with us and for your support. We are stronger together.
