While we love the updated design, we made this website for you, our clients. You'll see the new legal issue finder tool on the homepage, as well as our chatbot that can help Illinoisans 24/7 with basic questions and a section for client testimonials.

Our mission is to meet people where they are at. CARPLS, at its core, is a straightforward service: people can call us and get advice about their legal problem and can move forward in their lives, whether through our flagship hotline created in 1993 or our many projects we manage with our legal aid partners. We hope our website can clearly get you to the point you need. CARPLS has been a legal aid leader since 1993, and we will continue to be your advocate.
