"We have a friend that just recently has been helped by WISE. And I was just so relieved. This organization is holding her up and that just felt amazing. And that's what I want to see in the next 50 years."

We have a podcast!

We are so excited to share the news about our new podcast: WISER - 50 years ending gender-based violence. Two years in the making, the podcast is a collaboration between Northern Stage and WISE.

WISER, was created to celebrate the history and legacy of WISE over the past 50 years, in the words of the people who helped shape the organization from a grassroots resource center into the multi-faceted organization of today. The podcast series shares the stories and narratives of people who affected and were affected by WISE, within the context of cultural history. Jess Chayes, BOLD Associate Artistic Director at Northern Stage, interviewed 17 people within the community who participated and engaged in the movement to end gender-based violence from the 1970s and into the future. The podcast series explores what draws people to the movement, how change is made in organizations and culture, and how gender shapes our lives.

The first episode will be released on January 27, 2022. Six episodes will be released weekly on Thursdays through March 10 and are available for listening for free at the Northern Stage box office. Sign up today here and have each new episode sent to you!

Our heartfelt gratitude to YOU!
The beginning of 2022 brings fresh opportunities to reflect on our wonderfully supportive community. Simply put, we could not accomplish all the things we do without the many ways our community comes together to support survivors.

As we continue our yearlong celebration of WISE's 50 years in the Upper Valley, we honor many of you who have consistently supported WISE for decades. Because of your support, WISE has grown into the solid organization it is today, firmly rooted in the Upper Valley.

We are so grateful for your generosity during the 2021 Annual Appeal. To our old friends and to our newer friends, we are stronger because you are standing with us. Your donations make it possible for us to support survivors and grow our prevention and education programming.

If you have not had a chance to send in your gift, it is not too late. We are still accepting donations for our annual appeal.
2022 Covered Bridges Half Marathon
