As of today, Child Care Links and Family Service Counseling and Community Resource Center have joined forces under the name Hively .  The name is Hively is derived from the words ‘lively’ and 'hive' and means (n) A place or community full of life and energy; (adj) To be supported, cared for, thriving. Hively’s mission is to provide resources and support to ensure that everyone in the community can thrive. Together as Hively, we will be better equipped to provide children and families throughout Alameda County access to the broad array of high-quality social services they need.

What We Do At Hively, we believe that everyone should have the resources and support they need to feel supported, cared for, and able to thrive. We help parents find and pay for quality child care, we provide parent education and support to ensure that children get the best start possible, we provide guidance and training for people interested in building sustainable, high quality child care businesses and we help adults and children through challenging life situations. By providing counseling and other resources, we ensure that children and families throughout Alameda County have the resources they need to thrive.

Who We Are We are a committed team of professionals including family navigators, educators, child care professionals, mental health clinicians, and business specialists all dedicated to making sure that people of all ages in Alameda County have the opportunities, resources and support they need to live happy, healthy and productive lives.
