The Boys & Girls Club of Door County is excited to announce the hiring of Brian Stezenski-Williams as its new CEO. Stezenski-Williams started in spring 2019 as the organization’s interim CEO and quickly decided to throw his hat in the ring for the permanent position. “Brian is the perfect fit for our team and has shown his true commitment and dedication to the Boys & Girls Club mission. We are thrilled to see where this new leadership takes us next,” says Fran Shefchik, Boys & Girls Club of Door County Board Chair.
Prior to joining the Boys & Girls Club of Door County, Stezenski-Williams served as the executive director for the Boys & Girls Club in Wausau, Wisconsin, which he helped launch and run from 1995 to 2018. Stezenski-Williams has led successful, multi-million-dollar capital and major gift campaigns as well as annual campaigns and special events. He holds a doctorate in history from the University of Wisconsin- Madison and has completed extensive leadership training through Boys & Girls Clubs of America, including the 2017 Leadership Summit with the Harvard Business School. Among his many accomplishments is a deep understanding of the need for a Boys & Girls Club as a youth-serving organization, especially in the Door County community.
