Upcoming Events:

Clean Up Port Antonio
On November 13th, we will be conducting a clean up effort throughout the community of Port Antonio. Participants will include both graduates of the program and volunteers traveling from abroad on a missions trip. This will be a biannual initiative designed to increase community pride and civic responsibility by reducing the garbage and debris within the parish. A projected 80 individuals will make their way from Titchfield High School to Winnifred Beach with the necessary supplies to remove all objects not belonging in the natural landscape. We aim to enhance the preservation of the natural beauty of Portland for both local and global citizens. We will continue to build environmental awareness in the youth through active participation. Sponsorships of participants will go directly towards ground operations. We look forward to hosting this event under the proper safety measures of the World Health Organization. We ask that you keep us in your prayers!
Computer/Office Skills Workshop
On November 16, 2020 we will host an intensive training workshop for 15 students at Norse Hill Estate. The training will focus on office skills and computer basics. We will have numerous guest speakers from the
industry to provide insight and helpful advice on positions within the field. Lunch will be provided to all participants every day and at the end of the week we will have a graduation ceremony for those that exemplified effective participation, attendance,
and comprehension.
2020 Symposium
We are overjoyed to host our annual symposium for 2020 on November 12th. All graduates from Construction and Hospitality will join us for a day of reflection and continued learning. Students will have an opportunity to collaborate with their peers, engage with guest speakers, and enjoy supper together. Let us congratulate all of our persevering graduates of the year. As we all know, we continue to undergo some very challenging and uncertain times. However, in the midst of it all there continues to be growth and transformation!
