2020 Chairman of the Board, James Etringer of WorkForce Unlimited

On January 1, 2020 James Etringer of WorkForce Unlimited began his term as the Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce’s Chairman of the Board for the year 2020. John Philips , an agent of State Farm Insurance finished a strong term (2018-2019) and the Chamber is very thankful for his volunteer service and leadership! The Chamber welcomes James into his new leadership role along with other members of the Executive Committee including: 2021 Chair Elect, Lilnette Phillips (State Employees’ Credit Union), Treasurer, Luke Morrison (Gates Pharmacy), Vice Chair, Chris Lumsden (Northern Regional Hospital), and Chamber President & CEO Randy Collins .
Terms Begin for 3 New Board Members

The Chamber also welcomes three new board members, Jeffrey Trenter of Carport Central, Clay Nowlin of Aprio (Formerly LBA Haynes Strand, PLLC), and Chris Knopf , Surry County Manager. The full list of the Board of Directors can be found at www.MtAiryNCChamber.org .

2020 Ambassador Program Begins!

In the new year, the Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce is taking a new approach to the Ambassador Program. This morning (Jan. 15) the new and returning ambassadors, Membership Committee Chair, Connie Hamlin (RidgeCrest), and Chamber Membership Director, Cristie Andrews had their first meeting at Mount Airy City Schools headquarters. It's off to a great start!
Thank You to those who have volunteered or are volunteering their time as a Chamber Ambassador! Your help is essential to the success of the Chamber.
