It begins with an idea.

Public and private sector leaders from Bloomington-Normal and McLean County recently visited Holland and Grand Rapids, Michigan for our first InterCity Leadership Visit post-pandemic. During this three-day trip led by the McLean County Chamber of Commerce, we examined workforce development initiatives, including talent pipeline building and innovative funding models, alongside discussions on housing, quality of life projects, and strategic community development planning.

And grows with discussion.

Join us for the 2nd year of our new event

Reimagining Advocacy MultiPlied (RAMP)

Presented by Gateway Foundation

Advocacy centered around collective action and community growth.

We invite you to join us as we continue to explore unique opportunities to build consensus around important public policy and community investment issues related to future public-private partnerships here in our community. These collaborations aim to maintain Bloomington-Normal's competitiveness and prominence in our efforts to attract and retain a skilled workforce.

During this session, local leaders will provide updates on ongoing and upcoming projects designed to achieve these objectives. We will have additional presentations and a full speaker lineup will be released closer to the event. Following the speakers, we will have table discussions where you will have an opportunity to provide your input and make your voice heard.
