We're launching our new Library of Things Collection!
And we want you to come see all the things!!
We're thrilled to invite you to join us for the launch of our new Library of Things collection.

You're invited! Join us:
Thursday / Sept 14 / 5:00 - 7:00 pm
Squamish Public Library

A Library of Things is a collection of non-traditional library items available for the community to borrow for free. These items might be rarely used, hard to store, or expensive, such as electronic equipment, cooking appliances and hobby items.

We’ll be showcasing 25 brand new items we have added into collection. They’ll be on display throughout the library so you can get to know and play with them.

How fun is that? We can't wait for you to come try them out.

Refreshments will be provided. And of course, there will be cake!

If you want to learn more about the collection, we'll also be the Squamish Farmers Market (August 26) and Brackendale Fall Fair (September 9). Come say hi!
Only one week left!
Don't forget to complete your Summer Reading Challenge [But for Grown-ups] sheets by the end of August.

Please come drop them off at the library to be entered into the draw.

We'll be drawing for prizes the first week of September and you definitely don't want to miss that.

More info here.
Find Your Next Read

So many of you have written great book recommendations as part of our Summer Reading Challenge [but for Grown-Ups] this month!

Check out these book reviews written by your Squamish neighbors. It's neat to see what our community is reading and loving.

These pictures books will help young children as they are about to head off to school.

Maybe they are anxious or shy - it helps to read about others who feel the same way.
