Merrimack Valley Brews

At 56 Island Street, Rapscallion Brick Oven Pizza & Brewery and the Essex Art Center (EAC) share more than a home managed by Lawrence Partnership Vice Chair, Gary Sidell of Bell Tower Commercial Real Estate Group, they share a commitment to community. Local leaders, neighboring organizations, and residents have shown up in meaningful ways, creating connections that extend far beyond opening-day formalities.

Lawrence’s collaborative culture, rich heritage, and entrepreneurial spirit shape everything from summer block parties like EAC's Fiesta en la Calle, to ongoing partnerships like Rapscallion’s work with Groundwork Lawrence. As the team brews new creations and becomes part of the city’s rhythm, they continue to listen, engage, and give back. Rapscallion may be new to Lawrence, but the city’s warm embrace is already inspiring the next chapter - one built on shared stories, shared spaces, and shared pints.
