The drive through Historic Downtown Monroe on Friday was a sight to behold. Beautiful American Flags lining Main Street in honor of Patriots Day. We are all thankful to the Tualco Grange No. 284 for undertaking this enormous volunteer project for the past 20+ years. This project includes setting up and taking down up to 180 flags on major holidays throughout the year. We’d also like to thank Scout Troop 148 with the Pilchuck District, BSA for stepping in recently to help.
They are always looking for volunteers to help. If interested please contact the Monroe Parks Department at 360-863-4519.
