Harbor Happenings
Volunteer Edition
Volunteers are the Heart of Bellwether Harbor!
Thank you to our volunteers. Over the past year, 2,200 hours have been given to Bellwether Harbor by some amazing people. Volunteers do countless things for our animals such as:
  • Giving love to the dogs and cats
  • Socializing animals
  • Doing laundry
  • Helping at special events
  • Walking dogs
  • Fostering orphan kittens (feeding them every couple of hours)
Our volunteers are amazing and we couldn't do what we do without them. If you are interested in volunteering, you must be at least 15 years old, fill out an application, and attend an orientation. The next orientation is Nov. 20. For an application, check out our website: Volunteer Application
Make Us
"I volunteer because for one, it is a no kill shelter, and 2, because I like the people here. I like taking care of the dogs and helping them get a second chance to be adopted to their forever homes," said Bill, a 15-year volunteer.
Bellwether Calendars & Mugs
Visit us at Jingle Mingle at Fremont Middle School this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We will be in the old gym featuring our newest items and also have some of our dog collars.

A new item this year are mugs and bags featuring images from last year's movie-themed calendar. The mugs were a special gift to our volunteers and they loved them. Get yours soon or they will be gone!
Save the date! We are hoping you will consider a donation to Bellwether Harbor during the holiday giving season. Donations can be made through our Facebook page: Giving Tuesday Donation Page
