Wow! Together we have already logged 2,809 miles which gets us to New York. Congratulations. Let's take a minute to learn a little about this first stop as we travel around the world together.
Here are some fun facts and tidbits about New York City that you might not know!
What language do they speak in New York? English, but in New York they speak much faster! Known to drop consonants (hence “walkin'” versus “walking” in “I'm walkin' here!”) 

How does a New Yorker say “School is Awesome!”? They’d say “School is lit!” 

More than 800 languages are spoken in NYC. This makes it the most linguistically diverse city in the world!  

What state do dogs like most? New Yorkie!   
Where do eggs go on vacation? New Yolk City!

Did you know? 

The index finger of the statue of liberty is 8 feet long!  

New York is home to the 1st ever pizzeria in the US!? Lombardi's Pizza.
