Quiet Oaks Newsletter February 2021
2020 was a tough year for everyone, but out of it came many blessings.
The biggest blessing was the overwhelming support from
volunteers, community sponsors and continued donations.
Quiet Oaks could not fulfill our mission without each and everyone of you!
With that said, we're designating 2021 as our "Better Together" year,
making a difference in our community...TOGETHER!
Former Resident's Estate Sale
Our former resident's husband, Jim Paetznick is going to be having an estate sale starting March 8, 2021 with all the proceeds to benefit Quiet Oaks Hospice House...we are beyond
humbled and grateful!

The sale will begin by appointment only. If interested, please call
Sue Thell at (320)249-4451 to set up a time.
Family Movie Night
Quiet Oaks had "Family Movie Night" for our resident Peggy and her son Wes. It was complete with Olive Garden, flowers, popcorn, candy and Peggy's favorite movies! #BetterTogether
Bob Brown's
Art Wall
Every month, Quiet Oaks has a new local artist display their artwork on the wall near the resident's wings. This month, we have the pleasure of enjoying the artwork of one of the people who was instrumental in Quiet Oaks becoming what it is today. Bob Brown, thank you for sharing your talents with us. Your artwork is beautiful! #BetterTogether
Peggy's Birthday Celebration
We had a very special birthday celebration for our resident Peggy. Her friends gave her a wonderful birthday parade and dropped of gifts outside to make her day extra wonderful! #BetterTogether
Date Night
We had a special "Date Night" for our resident Cliff and his wife, Linda. They had a lovely evening of Olive Garden, music and quality time!

Quiet Oaks would like to give a SPECIAL shout out to Cheryl as she has been instrumental for many years with the planning and organizing of the Quiet Oaks Golf Classic! We appreciate Cheryl so much! Thank you!

Stay tuned for registration information for the upcoming Golf Classic this year on June 28, 2021 at the St. Cloud Country Club. We are excited to see everyone in person again...how we have missed everyone!
Although we're limiting people in the house right now, please don't hesitate to fill out a volunteer application. We have begun to resume some limited attendance volunteer orientations and would be happy to get you on board! #BetterTogether
We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to Bernatello's Foods for being an extraordinary community partner and so generously giving to the Quiet Oaks community. Your generosity helps Quiet Oaks more than you know. #BetterTogether
