We are trying to talk to as many of you as we can, as quick as we can, but if there is anything you need in the meantime, please call or email. We do ask that you call before coming to the office, as we are keeping only one staff member on hand at a time and have the door locked. I am checking email throughout the weekend, if there is something urgent, please reach out .

How we can continue to support one another.
You guys have been ROCKIN' the Take-Out!
Thank you for continuing to support our local restaurants during this time. This link has up-to-date information on what our Lakeville eateries are offering.
A special shout out to the City of Lakeville for not enforcing the temporary signage ordinance so that our local retailers and restaurants can put temporary signs out with their hours and take-out information.
We have heard so many stories this week about those of you who are lending support to our community. Whether it is donating money and supplies, hiring displaced workers, volunteering where needed. Thank you to all of the unsung heroes in our community who are helping to make sure no one feels they are going at this alone.
Home Show is VIRTUAL!!
As you all know, we had to very abruptly postpone the Home, Landscape and Consumer Expo last Saturday. For many of our home improvement businesses, this was one of many that have been cancelled or postponed. These spring shows are their opportunity to book large portion of their business. Here in Lakeville we plan to re-schedule, but that date is still an unknown. We have created a virtual show page with links to the website of each exhibitor.

If you are planning spring or summer projects, we ask that you please visit this page and support these local businesses.
Are you Hiring?
As we continue to have more displaced workers in our area, some of you have reached out to say that you are hiring. Please continue to let us know and email ALYSSA with your open positions so we can get them up on LakevilleWorks.org.

Walmart is how hiring temporary workers.
Express Employment is placing workers.
Hearthside Foods is hiring.
Donations NEEDED
Many of you have reached out to see how you can help. I am overwhelmed and proud to be a part of this community. Our two food shelves need our help. Whether monetary, items or your time, please help as you are able.

For those that want to help our schools with food donation and distribution, please reach out to me and I will connect you directly.
A couple things to look forward to...

From the Top:

So today I packed up and right.

We know we are in the thick of this for a while now. Thank you for the way you are demonstrating why Lakeville is such a great place to live, work and play. I hope you can take some time to enjoy your loved ones this weekend and know that we are all in this together.
