Help Shape the New Dignity Fund
Dignity Fund Logo
Over the past month, hundreds of seniors, adults with disabilities, and their supporters attended 11 District Forums around the City to discuss the gaps in services and supports . It's not too late to share your thoughts and experiences in order to shape future funding and policy decisions.

Find links to the survey in multiple languages or download paper copies in English , Spanish , Chinese , Russian , Vietnamese, and Tagalog. For more information, contact melissa.mcgee@sfgov.org or call 415-355-6782.

The survey is only open until December 8. The Department of Aging and Adult Services will give away $50 gift cards to five randomly selected individuals who provide their name and phone number at the end of the survey (note: your responses are kept confidential).

Mark your calendar for the next Dignity Fund Coalition meeting on January 24 from 2:30 - 4:30 pm at 825 Howard Street. To make sure you get the latest updates on the Dignity Fund, please join the email list for the Dignity Fund Coalition.

New Campaign Seeks to Reform Prop. 13 to "Make It Fair"
The "Make It Fair" campaign would close the commercial property tax loophole in Proposition 13 with no changes for homeowners, residential renters, and farmers. Closing the loophole would restore $9 billion each year to invest in California's schools, health clinics, trauma care and emergency rooms, parks, libraries, and public safety.

Want to get involved? Come to the Older Women's League (OWL) holiday party on December 16 from 11:00 am - 1:00pm. Learn more about OWL here.

seniors off loading turkeys for delivery
We are preparing for our annual Holiday Turkey and Fixing delivery on December 13, but the number of seniors, adults with disabilities, and their families in need has grown so much over the past year.

Thanks to Glide, we have 1,200 turkeys -- but still need 220 more plus the "fixings" to match. Generous folks have already donated $2,000. Can you help us raise $6,500 more by December 10?
