Our Thanksgiving Jubilee: A Time of Abundant Grace & Blessing
Our Thanksgiving Jubilee is a moment to give thanks to Jesus, the Lord of the Harvest, for the blessings and provisions of the past year. It's a special time for our parish community to come together in unity, celebrating God's goodness and the gift of one another.
A Milestone Year: 150th Jubilee Celebration
This year’s celebration is particularly meaningful as we mark our 150th Jubilee. It's not only a time to give thanks for this year’s blessings but to honor 150 years of faith, service, and mission. Our Thanksgiving Harvest becomes a grand offering to God, celebrating our Church’s legacy and mission to His Kingdom.
Our Annual Fundraiser
This joyful event also serves as our primary annual fundraiser, supporting both our parish mission and the necessary infrastructure repairs.
A Beautiful Tradition
Inspired by a West African tradition, we present our "first fruits" to the Lord during Mass. Families, individuals, and groups bring their gifts forward during the Offertory, offering them in support of the Church’s mission. The priest then blesses the offerers and their gifts at the altar.
Be Part of the Grand Celebration
Join us for our Grand Thanksgiving Jubilee on Sunday, October 5 at St. Antoninus. We begin with Mass at 10 am, followed by a Parade of Nations and a multi-cultural lunch, harvest bazaar, & auction.
Not a One Day Event
This is not a one day event. Our Jubilee is throughout 2025-- and every Sunday leading up to our Grand Thanksgiving Jubilee event is an opportunity for personalized family/individual offering. ( see sign up link below, as well as photos of recent Family Offering)
Invite family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues to enjoy and support our Jubilee celebration.
Let us pray for a blessed and fruitful Thanksgiving Harvest!
