We CAN Stop Hate. TOGETHER!
Calling on Supporters!

In the wake of devastating violence in Buffalo, NY and Uvalde, TX, we are calling on friends and leaders like you to stand with us in the fight against hate. In times like these, it’s hard not to feel overcome with anger and despair.

But we have to break through this sadness with a sense of urgency and action. One simple but powerful action is to donate to Not in Our Town.

We need to show our power, the power of the vast majority of good people standing together, acknowledging our own role in working with our communities to stop hate. That is what NIOT has been doing for 25 years, and why I’m writing now asking for your support.

We need you to be there for NIOT and our communities and schools.
With your support, Not In Our Town will continue working to stop hate and build safe, inclusive, equitable communities for all in 2022.

Help NIOT take on these actions:

  • Launch a multi-year Repairing the World film and community outreach and education campaign to strengthen local capacity to address antisemitism and prevent acts of hate, racism, anti-immigrant bias and all forms of bigotry

  • Provide free resources for discussions, lessons and campaigns to prevent hate and bias

  • Support and present United Against Hate Week events (November 13 - 20, 2022)

  • Offer Not In Our School workshops and resources for teachers who want to support their students in standing up to hate and bias

  • Provide coaching, guidance, and convenings for NIOT groups and other local communities who are ready to stand up together to stop hate

NIOT’s work is made possible by the generous support of individuals like you.

We can’t do this alone, but we can STOP HATE, together. Please make an online donation today at niot.org/donate or text STOPHATENOW to 44-321 to give.

In the midst of escalating hate and violence, thank you for standing up.

With gratitude,
Patrice O’Neill for the Not In Our Town Board and Staff
