Award Spotlight: City of Orlando

Congratulations to the City of Orlando for receiving the 2019 Transportation and Transit Enhancement Award for the Downtown Orlando Rideshare Hub Pilot Program!

The Downtown Orlando Rideshare Hub Pilot Program focused on enhancing downtown Orlando's transportation in terms of traffic congestion, crowd control and public safety. The private/public Nighttime Economy Management Committee created the concept "Rideshare Hubs" to address these issues. More patrons are choosing rideshare as their preferred method of transportation, making the Downtown Orlando Rideshare Hub Pilot Program a success.
