The Squamish Public Library now offers

laptops for use within the library

If you spend time at our Library, you know how much our public computers are used. We now have 6 more computers available through our new laptop locker!

The laptops:

  • Are available exclusively to adult patrons with a valid Squamish library card
  • May be borrowed for up to 2 hours per day
  • Can print your files directly to our library printer
  • Must be used within the library
  • Comes equipped with an Office Suite called OnlyOffice, which functions identically to Microsoft Office
  • Are compact and lightweight for easy handling
  • Automatically wipe all data upon return, ensuring your information stays safe

We also have 6 tablets that are available to use for all Squamish Public Library cardholders, not just adults. These can also be borrowed for up to 2 hours per day and are to be used within The Library only.

Both the laptops and tablets have a wide variety of uses, whether you're looking to do work, browse the internet, listen to audiobooks, read e-books or even play chess.

Foyer Gallery

ON NOW September 16 – November 16, 2025

Sue Bansen and Ellyn D’Uva: Eagles & Ecosystems

Ellyn's wood scultures explore the intricate relationships within natural ecosystems, drawing inspiration from her past scientific studies on topics ranging from Arctic permafrost to coastal predator-prey dynamics.

Sue's wildlife photography is driven by a deep love for observing animals in their natural environments. Her quiet patience and intuitive understanding of animal behavior allow her to get up close and capture intimate, expressive moments that reveal the true essence of her subjects.
