Individual Served Volunteering and Connecting with the Community

Cindy, an individual served by Open Sky, and Katura, a staff member, had a great time at a recent Maple Sugaring Event at River Bend Farm in Uxbridge. They were excited to be a part of the event and volunteering in the local community.

Cindy is keeping in touch with Open Sky's Community Membership team to continue being involved. Opportunities like this are a great way for individuals to gain experience, meet new people, and help the community!

11th Annual Art Palette Contest

This community favorite features artists of all ages and abilities who transformed ordinary wooden art palettes into unique works of art. They are displayed together on the gallery walls for all to enjoy!

Gallery guests are invited to cast a vote for their favorite! Prizes will be awarded in three different categories and age groups.

2024 Safe Homes Gala Tickets Are SOLD OUT

We are excited to share that the Safe Homes Gala and People of Courage Awards tickets have sold out even faster than last year! Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and we look forward to seeing you on April 12th.

Online Silent Auction Opening on April 5th

Did you miss your chance to purchase a Gala ticket? You can still support LGBTQIA+ youth served by the Safe Homes program by participating in the online silent auction opening on April 5th.

Registration for the auction website will open a few days before so you have time to check out the dozens of items to bid on including restaurant gift cards, sports tickets, vacation packages, and more!

Spring is here and the weather is warming up!

During the last big snowstorm, the Litchfield Ave program had a blast while sledding. Even in cold weather, there's lots of fun waiting outdoors!

Family Fun Fishing Day, May 4th

We're hoping to CATCH you on May 4th at River Bend Farm for this annual day of inclusive outdoor fun!

Registration will open in April.

Volunteers needed to help with this FREE event.

This event is hosted by Open Sky Community Services, Blackstone River National Heritage Corridor Volunteers-in-Parks Program, Blackstone River Watershed Association, Massachusetts Department of Conservation & Recreation, Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife.

39th Annual Valley Friendship Tour, June 1st

You can help someone live a more fulfilling life! Walk, jog, or ride throughout the Blackstone Valley to raise money for Open Sky's programs.

Fundraising starts NOW! Create a team and rise to the top of the leaderboard to win the top fundraising awards! Awards will be presented during the event.

All proceeds from the Tour fund essential programs at Open Sky, mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities, homelessness. By coming together with others, sponsors and participants are helping to ensure the youth, young adults, and families Open Sky serves will have the support they need to lead fulfilling lives.
