Samaritas Events Are Back!
Monday, September 13, 2021.

We ask you to “Be the Rock that Starts the Ripple” so we can continue to meet the growing needs of nearly 12,000 children, families and seniors in Michigan each year.

We depend on your financial support to provide health, hope and wholeness to at-risk children who need a foster or adoptive home, offers New Americans safety and self-sufficiency with a place to call home, and provides care for persons with disabilities and a continuum of care for seniors and affordable housing for the most vulnerable in our community.

The evening will be packed full of excitement and entertainment, including for the first time a 50/50 Raffle Helicopter Ball Drop.
Thursday, September 30.

You are invited to join us for this exciting in-person, outdoor event at Jimmy John’s Field in Detroit suburb, Utica.

You won’t want to miss your chance to be together again, and with an entire outdoor baseball stadium to socially distance, you can feel confident in indulging in the evenings activities.

Together, we will celebrate Fielding Hope, 87 years of impact in the community and raise funds to empower the most vulnerable in our community to live their fullest life possible.

The evening will be packed full of excitement and entertainment, including for the first time a 50/50 Raffle Helicopter Ball Drop.

Samaritas Snapshot: By the Numbers
"Samaritas direct care workforce completed 120,000 hours of disability support services in 2020"
Disability Support
This month as we acknowledge the 31st anniversary of the American Disabilities Act (July 26), it is a reminder that people with disabilities, their family caregivers and direct care workforce need our help.

Which is why Sam Beals, CEO, Samaritas, called on each of you recently to support the Better Care Better Jobs Act.
It will be a game changer in supporting:

  • people with disabilities,
  • their family caregivers, and
  • the direct care workforce.
