Fall is the time when we harvest the fruits of our labor. With your support, A Child's Haven has flourished this past year and increased the number of children treated by 24% to 149 children for FYE 2018. The additional children led to a 37% increase in the number of caregivers we supported to a total of 179 family members. A Child's Haven has grown so much, but there are still so many families who need our help.
Our eyes are always on meeting and sustaining our mission, so we have plenty of ways for you to support A Child's Haven. In fact, it is easier than ever to plant more seeds of support for our families. Opportunities range from chances to bid on one-of-a-kind auction items to a brand new easy, monthly givi
ng campaign.

You're hearing it here first! A Child's Haven is thrilled to introduce our NEW monthly-giving campaign, Life Lifters. As a "Life-Lifter", your monthly gifts will make a real difference in the lives of all those we serve.
A simple $10 a month gift, over the course of 12 months, will feed 9 hungry children, 2 healthy meals a day for an entire week! As a bonus, we're sending Life Lifters who donate $10 or more monthly, a limited edition, A Child's Haven, Stainless Steel Tumbler.

This year, A Child’s Haven welcomes Richard (Dick) Wilkerson, retired CEO of Michelin, North America who will speak to the economic impact of investing in early childhood programs, our theme, “Tomorrows Leaders, Begin today”. Brittney arrived at A Child’s Haven when she was four years old. Brittney had previously been neglected, so at the time she was living in foster care under DSS Custody. She presented generalized anxiety disorder, parent-child relational problems, and other personal risk factors such as self-harming...

Volunteer Spotlight, Meet Lisa Wood
|
Meet Lisa Wood, Board member and so much more! Prior to coming to A Child’s Haven, Lisa received a degree in Early Childhood Education and worked in the field for over 15 years. After moving back to Greenville to work in the family business, Industrial Fire Solutions, Lisa found that she missed seeing their growth and enthusiasm for learning. Lisa discovered A Child’s Haven and has volunteered with us since 2015. She has always had a passion for working with children, so A Child’s Haven was a natural fit! Today, Lisa serves on our 2018 Board of Directors and teams up with her mother, Vicki Davis, for a pick-up route for in-kind donations from Target every Friday. Lisa also volunteers to do art therapy with several of our treatment rooms every other Tuesday. Lisa is always generous towards all facets of A Child’s Haven, including helping our staff celebrate their milestones as Birthday and Holiday sponsor. We can’t thank Lisa enough for her endless service and dedication to A Child’s Haven.

Partner Spotlight, LiveWell Greenville

A Child’s Haven (ACH) is proud to partner with LiveWell Greenville and do our part to advance their mission to make Greenville County one of the healthiest places to live in the nation. LiveWell has advised A Child’s Haven on providing provide healthy foods and activities for our children and parents, as well as staff and volunteers. LiveWell Greenville also connects ACH to local vendors so we can purchase fresh, nutritious ingredients for meals. To learn more visit,

The stars were shining brightly for the children and families of Upstate South Carolina on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the 2018 Synnex Share the Magic Gala, located at the Greenville Convention Center. A Child's Haven is honored to be one of the lucky beneficiaries! Since it's inception, this program has raised 8.8. million dollars for A Child's Haven, Pendleton Place, Clement's Kindness, and Make a Wish South Carolina and this past weekend they went over the 10 million dollar mark! From bidding on one-of-a-kind items and getaway packages in the silent auction to enjoying a class act band as glistening lights hung aglow, the evening was certainly magical. Thank you, Synnex Share the Magic, Peter Larocque, and Hughes Agency for your continued investment and support of our mission.
