Nate and Evan

We're excited to share Nate and Evan's story! Six months ago, Evan and Nate were matched. As winter set in, Evan found it challenging to plan engaging activities for them. However, he remained optimistic, especially since Nate had expressed interest in hiking once the weather improved.

With the arrival of spring, their shared enthusiasm for the outdoors blossomed. Recently, they achieved a significant milestone together by hiking Mount Wachusett.

This was Nate's first mountain hike! Though the ascent was demanding, with moments of fatigue, both he and Evan found the experience rewarding. Evan observed Nate's pride upon reaching the summit and appreciated his awe at the view they had earned.

On their way back home, Nate asked Evan about other mountains they could hike together. Evan, an avid hiker with aspirations to summit New Hampshire's 48 peaks over 4,000 feet, was thrilled by Nate's interest.

We hope Nate and Evan continue to have fun and achieve more important milestones like this!
