Don't worry, our office will remain open; however, John Mason will not be holding in-office appointments during the month of November. Rest assured, you will be taken care of in John's absence. We have an extremely capable and confident advisory and support team to assist you. John will also have a part-time schedule during which he will be accessible via email and phone (we all know he won't unplug completely during his leave!). We will continue to update you as the due date approaches, and as to when John will be back in the office. Please help us by making appointments in advance and contacting us with your own anticipated life changes as soon as possible. Thank you for allowing John this precious (sleepless!) time to welcome this wonderful gift into the world!
Congratulations to the new parents-to-be!!

With such happy news, we have a bit of sad news as well. Kathy Ethridge, the longest serving M&A employee, will be departing this summer. Her husband, Keith, who has worked in the Department of Veterans Affairs for 31 years, has taken a new position as a Chaplain at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, Texas. The news is bittersweet, as they will be joining one of their daughters and grandsons who live in Texas. Kathy began at Mason & Associates as the
second
employee, and has been with us through it all, for the past 13 years! We cannot thank her enough for all of her sincere dedication and hard work over the years. Kathy wants everyone to know clients make it a pleasure to come to work every day and she wishes she could say a personal farewell to each one she has gotten to know through the years.
Kathy will be sorely missed, but we wish her the very best as she embarks on a new life adventure.

The Mason family would like to thank you all for the condolences in memory of Mike and Ken’s father, John E. Mason. Dad passed away on February 21, and many of you were at the President’s Day breakfast when we received news he was taken to the hospital. We truly appreciate your heartfelt sentiments, cards, and flexibility with appointments. We’re thankful to know that his presence on earth will have a lasting influence on the many lives he touched.
