We’ve all seen that long list of supplies kids are supposed to bring to school.

For most families in Colorado Springs, it’s a punch list added to their current shopping list. But what if you get that list and you’re wondering how to pay for dinner that night?

For so many families, this is the dark reality.

Every summer here at The Salvation Army, we help kids in these exact scenarios. BUT - we not only provide them with backpacks - we take them on a Shopping Spree! This is where children get NEW clothes, backpacks, AND school supplies to get them ready for the school year!

So why are we emailing you?

We couldn't do this each year without people like you. We’re reaching out to see if you’d be willing to help sponsor a child in our community who otherwise would not get to experience the thrill of new school clothes and supplies most of us experienced as a child.

Our goal is $100 for 100 children in our community.

Whatever you can donate makes a BIG difference in the life of a child!
