As Ann reaches the culmination of a spectacular career in fundraising, she leaves the foundation in strong standing. In her seven years at the Partnership, Ann formed our first development committee, launched our first annual campaign, and grew our collaborative Match Madness campaign to raise and invest a total of $3+ million back into the community.

Ann brings her magical spark, creativity, confidence, and grace to all that she does. Her mission-driven career has positively changed the foundation and our community.

Increasing Access to
Health Services
Access to health services with adequate insurance coverage is vital to health and well-being. Yet too many people forgo essential health services due to costs, workforce shortages, and systems that are outdated and complicated. Our newest policy paper outlines practical steps to improve access to primary care, dental services, behavioral health care, and related services.

The report's author, Carol Thornton explains, "Reduced costs and improved quality are things that we all want. And our legislators and government leaders are critical to achieving this." Thornton added, "There's a role for everyone to play in advocating for and adapting to better systems of care."

We're Hiring a Finance Director!
Join our wonderful team! The Partnership for Better Health is seeking a Finance Director to lead all day-to-day aspects of the foundation’s accounting, investment, financial management, and HR benefit administration systems. The director will develop and execute financial policy, accounting, and reporting through a comprehensive fiscal plan and budget. Seeking seasoned professionals with 7 to 10 years of experience in a leadership role with accounting, finance, strategic and operational planning, budgeting, and administration--plus, three or more years of nonprofit accounting experience.

Strong candidates with diverse backgrounds are invited to apply. The Partnership for Better Health offers an attractive compensation and full benefits package, including a competitive salary, paid time off, employee wellness, medical, dental and life insurances, and retirement benefits. At 30 hours a week, this position supports a healthy work/life balance. The awards ceremony recognizes distinguished community volunteers, healthcare providers, business leaders, philanthropists, and youth whose work plays a vital role in advancing the health and wellness of our region.

Dementia Friends Workshop
November 2 at 6:30 pm

In this interactive workshop, participants will learn about the five key messages of dementia, the ways it affects people, and how you can take action steps to make a difference for someone living with dementia. Memory Care expert Debra Boyer with Arden Courts will share tips and resources. The workshop is free but registration is required.
