You know us for our work abroad, but there is no doubt that we are not enraged and disturbed by the current attacks on abortion rights right here in the United States.
Our sister organization,
carafem, is pushing back on the recent abortion bans, providing patient-centered, judgement-free sexual and reproductive health services in
Maryland, Illinois, Tennessee, and Georgia. Carafem clinics offer safe abortion and, in Georgia, even offers telemedical services for women who wish to administer the abortion pill themselves with the support of a carafem provider on-call.
Abortion is still legal and carafem's doors are open.
