Advancing Sustainable Vertical Urbanism
TLC supports the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) in promoting vertical urbanism. CTBUH is the world’s leading nonprofit organization, exploring how increased urban density and vertical growth can support more sustainable and healthy cities, especially in the face of mass urbanization and the increasing effects of climate change worldwide. CTBUH is perhaps best known as the arbiter of tall building height and a global authority maintaining an online database of more than 40,000 tall buildings.
TLC is currently associated with more than 35 building projects listed in the registry, with several more recent projects in review by the council. As a silver member of this organization, TLC provides information that cultivates the database, increasing awareness of the benefits related to vertical urbanism.
