4th of July Pray~Hope~Believe 5K Run/Walk!!!
[early bird pricing in effect through May 31st]

We are excited to share that we are planning a hybrid event for this year's PHB 5K. Following the State of Ohio Health guidelines, we are able to host a safe in-person event, but we are also holding a virtual event for those who prefer or need that option. Either way, please help us make our 10th year our BEST year!!! Talk with your friends, family, and coworkers about joining you on July 4th. Form or join a team to add to the fun! We will still follow our same general format, but will make some modifications to limit any health risks to our participants. As we did last year, Basket Raffle will likely be virtual and will include our split-the-pot. We will have volunteers available at the 5K who can assist with purchasing online. We end the morning with a memorial ceremony for those lives cut too short by brain cancer. Please do stay tuned to emails and social media posts; we all know how quickly things can change with the pandemic situation. Thank you for helping us bring HOPE to children battling brain cancer!
Registration includes a special 10th anniversary gift from PHBF!!!
The PHB 5K is the primary fundraising effort for the Pray~Hope~Believe Foundation (PHBF). PHBF was established to honor the memory of our 6-year-old son, Tony, who died on July 4, 2011 after an almost three-year-battle with brain cancer. PHBF’s primary goal is to raise funds for pediatric brain cancer research because brain cancer is the #1 disease killer of children in the United States. PHBF’s mission also includes supporting families who have a child diagnosed with a brain tumor – through social support (like our Family Camp Day), financial support, and a prayer ministry. To date, we have funded more than $500,000 ($543,580 to be exact) in pediatric brain cancer research. We have also provided scholarships and support programs for children battling brain cancer.  We continue as a foundational partner with the DIPG Collaborative (www.dipg.org) – partnering with organizations throughout the world to more efficiently move pediatric brain cancer research forward. Because we are a strictly volunteer-run organization, all profits go directly toward our mission. We fund specific grants so we know exactly how our funds are being used and by whom. We hold our researchers accountable to using funds as promised and providing us with regular status updates.  We are only able to do this because of supporters like YOU! See you on the 4th!

With HOPE and appreciation,
