Mark your calendars. On Sunday June 14 we will reopen our campuses for Sunday morning worship services. Both June 14 and June 21 will be our “soft launch” Sundays. Anyone is welcome to attend, but we will use these two Sundays as a gauge for how many will be in each service. Should we need to make any changes, they will occur on June 28. We will still have our digital service available for those who cannot attend in person.

The schedule remains the same as before our closure.

West Bradenton Campus: 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m.
En Español: 10:30 a.m.
Southside Campus: 11:00 a.m.

Picking a reopening date was a challenge. Some will want sooner. Others will want later. In the process of reopening, we wanted to minimize frustration, awkwardness, and confusion. And we wanted to maximize energy and excitement. As we planned and prayed as a staff, we felt the middle of June gave us enough time to plan well while at the same time taking into considering the physical health of our congregation.

The worship experiences will be forty-five minutes so we can clean between each service. The services will be our only Sunday morning programming, and we are inviting children to attend with families. Don’t worry. We’ve got some fun ideas to keep the entire family engaged.

In order to keep everyone healthy, we are sanitizing our building and cleaning surfaces throughout each Sunday morning. We ask you to practice social distancing while on our campus. You will notice a few minor changes to the services. For example, we will have secure boxes on our campus for the offering. We will also not have bulletins or pew Bibles available.

The fellowship hall will be available as overflow in case our sanctuary becomes too full to practice social distancing. Please note: The doors will open for worship experiences fifteen minutes prior to the start of the service.

We understand some of you may not be ready to return. We respect your concerns, and we desire to continue ministering to you. To accommodate those who cannot be with us in person, we will continue our current digital service format. In fact, it has been so well received, we plan to keep doing it indefinitely!

Until Sunday June 14, our Home Group Watch Parties will continue. We are asking small groups of people to gather in homes and watch our worship experience together. We post our services on Saturdays at 5:00 p.m., so these groups can occur on Saturday evenings as well.

Contact Laila Wilkerson at [email protected] if you want to get connected to a home group.
