🍵 “Spilling the Tea” on The Spice & Tea Exchange of Kannapolis

Kannapolis native Dionna Milem opened The Spice & Tea Exchange in 2021, bringing a unique blend of spices, teas, and gifts to downtown Kannapolis.

🌱 Offering handcrafted spice blends, infused salts, and over 65 loose-leaf teas, the store also hosts events, making it a hub for food enthusiasts and tea lovers.

🌸🎟️ Don’t miss their pressed flower class on Sept 8th from 3-4pm. You'll create a floral display on a gold frame (all supplies included for $35). Tea and light refreshments will also be served. Only 12 spots are available.

Why is this event unique? There are a lot of 5K races in our community and they often include 1-mile walks, but no other 2-mile walks! This event is great for people looking to go the “extra mile”!

It’s perfect for people of all ages, families, and seniors! And this year, the event has added a little more FUN with a Costume Contest since the date is so close to Halloween. Kids get a chance to wear their costumes one more time and adults get to be creative too!

The Junior Charity League of Concord is hosting its annual Fall Bunco Event 🎲 on Sept 12th from 6-9pm (ICYDK - it’s a fun and easy to learn dice game)! Tickets are $30 and include a game card, appetizing bites 🍽️, sweet treats 🍰, and a cocktail🍹.

Finish summer with a FREE 🎬 Movie in the Park. Harrisburg Parks and Rec will show Disney’s Lion King 🦁 on Aug 23rd at Harrisburg Park, 191 Sims Parkway. Activities start at 6:30pm, movie at 8pm.
