WHO WE ARE
WHAT WE DO
HOW TO HELP

Dear Friends of Must!,

As we approach the Thanksgiving Holiday, we want to pause and express our deepest gratitude to our incredible supporters who have been a driving force behind our work at Must! Charities.

Throughout this year, we've seen the remarkable impact of your generosity in the lives of countless individuals and families within our community. Your kindness has allowed us to provide food, shelter, education, healthcare, and hope to those in need. You've been the catalyst for change and the reason we've been able to continue our mission to make our world a better place.

As we focus on gratitude this month, we want to highlight one of our projects – The Juan Nevarez Memorial Scholarship Fund: A Vineyard Team Initiative. This scholarship supports vineyard and winery workers' children with higher education scholarships. This project is much more than a scholarship; the content below explains why. We will continue to invest in this project over the next few years, and we hope you will join us as we further the Scholarship Fund and create opportunities for higher education for years and years to come.

Warm Regards,

Becky

Education is the key to unlocking a brighter future, and we are proud to support the next generation of leaders through the Juan Nevarez Memorial Scholarship (JNMS). We believe that education is the foundation for a better world, and we are honored to play a small role in helping students achieve their goals. Together, we can create a brighter future for all.

Part of our investment with the Vineyard Team was to fund a Scholarship Administrator and Mentor. With over 20 years of experience helping students and families access financial aid and scholarship programs, Alex fits right in as the Administrator and Mentor of the Juan Nevarez Memorial Scholarship. His support of first-generation students helps them graduate and move seamlessly into the workforce.

With Alex's guidance, several students have sought advice on budgeting, financial aid, and resume building.

"The opportunity to be a lawyer. I'm positive that it's the path for me. After getting a bachelor's, I would like to go to law school and acquire a Juris Doctor Degree. It will require a lot from me, both academically and financially, but I'm ready to take on the burden and stress. I'm also aware of the rigorousness of the education that lay before this path, so I know I must prepare myself more than I ever have before."

"My parents, who never got the chance to graduate high school or even attend high school.

Seeing them wishing they could have continued their education and seeing how hard

their jobs are pushed me to continue my education."

"Fresno State University's Kinesiology Program. One career aspiration I have is to become an expert in my field and devote my research

and education as I want to become a physical therapist when I graduate . I would love to have my own proper clinic that is welcoming to all patients in need of

rehabilitation. I want to be able to create a physical therapy clinic that is able to be

enjoyable and fulfilling for both me and my employees."
