A Shared Vision is a Colorado 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to inspiring and empowering families to nurture the development of their children who are blind or visually impaired. Our goal is to ensure that all families of children with visual impairments, from birth to age three, receive essential early intervention services from a community of highly skilled and collaborative professionals. We're Turning Two! In just two years, with your friendship, time and financial support, A Shared Vision has become the leading provider of in-home and community vision services to Colorado’s very young children who are blind, visually impaired or have vision concerns.

A Shared Vision was founded in October 2016 by two dedicated Teachers of the Visually Impaired who believed there was a gap in in-home and community vision services for families with very young children who are blind or visually impaired. Now, with a growing staff of 11 providers, we are seeing 100 children across the state of Colorado, including 51 rural counties and the Western Slope.

Families with concerns about their child's vision need meaningful information, compassionate support and practical assistance. If you are an early intervention provider and know a very young child who is blind or visually impaired or has any vision concerns, partner with us.
