Happy Spring! While the winter season may be a time for some to hibernate, we've been busy as bees preparing for this spring's release of new resources and events for our community. We hope you find them useful!
If there is anything we can do to support you, your family, or your patients, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Where's the Lynch Guide???
|
As we approached the release of
A Patient's Guide to Lynch Syndrome
on March 22nd, we encountered an... opportunity. We learned that there was inconsistency in gynecological recommendations from various national guidelines.
So... we called in the best of the best! Karen H. Lu, MD, is
the Co-Director for the MD Anderson Clinical Cancer Genetics Program and Director of the High Risk Ovarian Cancer Screening Clinic. She is a national leader in the cancer genetics field and has published seminal articles on hereditary gynecologic cancers. We are incredibly fortunate to be working with Karen as we finalize the Guide, which we expect to release in just a few weeks!

Can You Spare a Few Hours?
|
We're working on a nationwide event for anyone concerned that their family history puts them at high risk for cancer, especially those who have limited access to medical care.
We are seeking volunteers to help plan the event. Specific skills needed include: advertising design, genetic counseling leadership, project management, public relations, and social media marketing.
