July Empowerment Hour

Learning about people's experiences of violence and abuse helps us understand the many forms it can take and how they survived. By telling their stories, survivors are letting others know that it’s possible to overcome both the trauma of domestic violence and the injustice of the system. They are using their experiences to help others, and showing that there is a way out.

This month, we'll be hearing from a special guest who survived an experience of her own. She is a vibrant member of our Touch Link community and we look forward to listening to her as she bravely shares her survivor story. Fitting this month's theme of Minority Mental Health Awareness, she will highlight the mental health effects from her experience and her recovery journey. You don't want to miss it!
